Steps for Custom Mirror Orders
1. Request a Custom Quote
Begin your custom project by requesting a quote.
You may submit your request through our website, email us at service@tehomemirrors.com, or contact our team via cell 562 613 6495 directly. Please include any initial specifications such as size, shape, frame material, finish, and mirror glass preferences.
2. Review & Confirm Specifications
Our team will review your request and prepare a detailed custom quote based on your requirements. Once received, please review all specifications carefully to ensure accuracy before moving forward.
3. Submit Purchase Order
Confirm your order by submitting your purchase order based on the approved quote.
Any additional details — including side marks, special instructions, or updated shipping information — should be included at this stage.
If a custom finish match is required, we will prepare for a sample swatch for approval before mass productionm.
4. Deposit & Order Confirmation
A deposit is required before shop drawings can begin.
Payment may be made via ACH. Once payment is received, your order is officially confirmed and scheduled.
5. Shop Drawings Preparation
Our artisans and engineers prepare detailed shop drawings in PDF format, outlining all dimensions, construction details, and finishes. These drawings are created specifically for your project.
This stage ensures accuracy before production begins.
6. Shop Drawing & Finish Approval
Please review and approve the shop drawings and finish samples.
This is the final opportunity to request revisions before production.
For non-standard finishes, a physical control sample is required for matching. Production lead time begins only after all approvals are finalized.
7. Production Begins
Once approved, your mirror enters production.
Standard production lead time typically ranges from 4-8 weeks from final approvals.
If needed, expedited options such as air freight may be available to reduce overall lead time. Our team will advise if this option is suitable for your project.
8. Balance Payment
Upon completion of production, we will issue an invoice for any remaining balance. Orders are prepared for shipment once payment is received.
9. Final Inspection & Shipping
Each custom mirror undergoes a final quality inspection before shipping.
Items are carefully packaged using custom-fitted inner and outer cartons, reinforced with palletized A-frame support to ensure safe transit.
Your order is then securely sealed and shipped to its final destination.
